Education
I am an Irish Cognitive Nueroscience Major studying at RUG (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen). I like teaching kids, but also help my peers if they need assistance. As a native speaker, English is my strong suit, but I can tutor the sciences at a high school or 1 year university course level. The focus of my study is in psychology, however I have also have done courses in Organic Chemistry, Earth Sciences and Literature. I am going into my 3rd year this September (2017-2018) and have a GPA of 3.45.
Experience
I have worked as a professional English Tutor for Dutch kids in Middelburg in 2014 with Anglia Summer School. Last year whilst working for Airbnb, I completed a 120 hour part-time TEFL (teaching English as a foreign Language course). As well as this, I have worked in an after-school childcare centre in Ireland entertaining children by teaching music, arts and crafts. One day I would like to be a teacher for IB or possibly a university professor; this is why I am trying to gain experience as a tutor.
