I am in my second year of study at the University of Groningen, reading a BA in European Languages and Cultures, and also aspiring to achieve a position in the Honours college at RUG. I am also just nearing the end of a TEFL Course, providing me with a more in-depth knowledge of how to delivery the most effective English lessons to my students.

Originally from the UK, I studied my GCSE's (Maths, English Language & Literature, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Italian, German, Engineering, Geography, Business, Religious Studies, IT), AS-Levels (Maths) and A-Levels in Chemistry, Italian and Biology). I am a native English speaker, and am also equipped with a proficient level of Italian. I used to tutor Italian in high school, and also English. Hobbies
I am an avid tennis player, owning a tennis academy that is based in Barcelona and in the UK. I also playing squash and badminton. Being passionate about languages, I am currently learning Brazilian Portuguese, Papiamento, and am soon to be starting to learn Swedish. Now I live in the Netherlands, it goes without saying that I have to learn Dutch too! I am also fascinated by linguistics, and how languages act as keys for opening doors, allowing one to experience the varied and involved cultures of the world, from an entirely different perspective.
