Experience
During my studies, I have discovered how important is to have a good teacher who motivates you and finds an individual approach to each student. That is why I started to teach, helping people who love the instrument to approach the violin following an individual and flexible method. I have attended different methodology and pedagogy courses in the Conservatory from which I learn the basics to teach, but over the years I have developed my own method becoming as creative as each student needs to achieve their goals. I have been teaching Violin and music theory for more than 8 years now, to different age students (from 4 to 60 years old) and different levels in Spain and in the Netherlands. I have worked in different music schools as well as in private lessons. I also have experience working with small string ensembles. Apart from classical violin, I am also interested in a more modern style, so I have also expertise in violin improvisation, so I also teach jazz, blues, country and other styles on the violin. I can teach piano to beginners, as I have also studied classical piano during my Bachelor Degree. Since I started to play violin at the age of 7 I have been working with different youth and professional orchestras such as Castilla y León Young Orchestra (JOSCYL), Soria Young Orchestra (JOSS), Noord Nederlands Orkest (NNO), Navarra Symphonic Orchestra, Orchestra ‘Reino de Aragón’ (ORA), Burgos Symphonic Orchestra (OSBU). My interests connect music to other settings and that is why I have been working in different health care settings for 6 years now. I have worked as a music-therapist (Spain) in elderly homes, kid facilities and hospitals and I have focused my work on deafness, elderly with dementia, ADHD and autism. I am currently working as a violinist in different health care contexts (hospitals, nursing homes) in the Netherlands. The knowledge acquired and developed in health care settings gives me more musical tools that I apply in my violin lessons.

Hobbies
My first hobbie is also music and I like other styles apart from classical music (jazz, country, Irish, rock...). That way I also like to make arrangements of different pieces and besides that, I learned how to improvise, so I am always trying to develop my improvisation skills playing different types of music. I love reading and watching movies and I also spend time working with sound/video computer programs building up different art projects that are also connected to music. I also like to be outside, walk and swim.
